Physical Form: When she choses to have a form, she takes on the form of her 20 year old self. She is often seen "wearing" in a long green dress with a matching cloak. As with most ghosts, her skin has almost no color to it and her hair is a very pale blonde. She is almost always surrounded by an eerie glow (except when she is melancholy), which is especially bright under a full moon.
History: Rhianne was born into a peasant family to Elizabeth and William Kordi. To everyone outside of their family, they seemed to have the perfect, normal life.
Elizabeth and William had a secret, though it was more her secret than his. Elizabeth was lucky to have found such a supportive husband. The three lived in a time where superstition and strange things sparked more fear than curiosity, and Elizabeth had been born from a long line of women possessing the gift of premonition. Luckily, she had not gotten the "sight" like her mother had and thought that perhaps her family would be safe from it.
Rhianne grew (as all children tend to do) to be a young woman and three months after her 15th birthday (16 years after her conception), Elizabeth found out how very wrong she had been in her thinking. Rhianne was gifted with the "sight" and it was so much stronger than any surviving members of her family could remember.
Over the next 9 months, Rhianne was plagued with strange and horrible dreams, faces she didn't recognize and situations that scared her. She often found herself staying awake all night before passing out due to exhaustion just to keep herself from dreaming. Slowly she became aware of things, things she could not have ever learned on her own. She realized that her mind was reaching out to all those who came before her. It was collecting whatever wisdom they had to offer the young Rhianne.
Elizabeth tried her best to help her only child through this time, but because she had not gone though it herself, she was little help. William wanted to speak to others about it, to see if they had any ideas that would make the adjustment period easier for Rhianne, but Elizabeth refused. She did not want to be shunned and forced out of the village.
Over the next year, their secret was learned. While the village did not cast them out, they were treated differently. "Friends" shied away from the family and after a time, no one talked to them anymore.
Rhianne set out on her own shortly after she turned 17. She had seen where she was supposed to be and who she was supposed to guide. It took the better part of four months to find her way to the village of Terre Shim and another month to find the pregnant Danielle.
Three months later, with the help of Rhianne, Danielle gave birth to a baby girl. She named the girl Kayla and Rhianne was able to look into the eyes of the one she was supposed to guide for the first time.
Over the next two months, Rhianne built a house (with the help of a few younger villagers she had managed to charm) in the woods near the village. She had always liked her privacy and she was much more comfortable in the company of nature than in that of humans.
Kayla grew under the guidance of both her parents and Rhianne. When Kayla reached the age of 17, Rhianne told her of what she had seen and Kayla left the village on her own journey.
The six years that followed were quiet for Rhianne. She kept a "watch" on Kayla and her family and helped Danielle through her husbands death.
The seventh year was troubling for Rhianne. She had begun to have strange dreams. She saw Kayla and her husband. She saw the birth of the twins, but when she looked at Kalana, her sight left her. She had dreams of fire and sadness, and before long, she found herself repeating the actions of 28 years earlier. She stayed up as long as possible, delaying the horrid dreams.
On October 13th there was a fire in the woods. It seemed as if someone has camped nearby and lost control of their cooking fire. Rhianne was asleep when the fire surrounded her home and she had no chance of escaping.
Danielle found her charred bones the next day, after the fire had consumed everything it could.
Now: Two years have passed since Rhianne's death and her spirit now resides in the Cemetery of Terre Shim. She cannot rest until her task is completed and she still has 13 years to wait.
Basics: She's a trapped soul. A spirit that cannot leave. Sometimes this angers her or saddens her, but in most cases she's gentle. It takes a tremendous amount of effort for her to move objects. She still has her "sight" which has grown stronger since she entered the spirit world.
